Radisson is the most northern French-speaking community in the world, located beyond the 53rd parallel and near the frontier of Nunavut on the East shore of James Bay. Despite the harsh climate there, Radisson receives important guests from around the world coming to hunt the elusive barren-ground caribou during its great migration. Therefore, the name Radisson was the obvious choice for our big game gut hook model.
Mainly composed of dense boreal forest, the Matawinie region in Quebec is the gateway to the North. It is home for an abundance of black bears, who feed mainly upon wild low-bush blueberry making the region a prime destination for black bear hunting. This model is a favorite for guides and other expert black bear hunters.
